The Şırnak 1st Heavy Criminal Court held the second hearing in the trial of journalist Nedim Oruç. The court rejected the defence’s requests for the return of his camera, the lifting of his travel ban and the hearing of witnesses. The panel referred the case file to the prosecutor’s office for a merits opinion and adjourned the hearing to September 26, 2026.
