In the trial of 19 journalists who were detained in Diyarbakır in 2022 and released a year later, the court ruled for the continuation of the travel ban on the journalists and adjourned the trial to January 20, 2026. During the hearing, some witnesses said they did not know the journalists, the presiding judge reacted to the witnesses by saying “At least pretend to think”.
