The third hearing in the case brought against journalist Timur Soykan was held at the Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance. The lawyer of the complainant, BDDK Deputy Chair Mustafa Aydın, requested that a warrant for Soykan’s forcible appearance be issued. The court decided to take his defence statement within the scope of the consolidated file and adjourned the hearing to November 3, 2026.
