Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TIHV) launched two reports, “State of Emergency at Universities: Analysis on the Destruction of the Academic Environment” aiming to reveal the effects of the prevailing political pressure on academia, as well as, “Dismissals of Academics: Rights Violations, Disappearances and Process of Strengthening” which handles the scope of rights violations and disappearances experienced by academics dismissed from universities as well as traumatic consequences of these. Human Rights School also launched the report, “Academic Freedom in Turkey in the State of Emergency Period” which focuses on field research to identify how academic freedoms were violated, restricted and prevented.
