The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office arrested three individuals on May 22 who had been taken into custody as part of an investigation into the Beşiktaş Municipality. The prosecutor’s office referred the suspects to the court on charges of accepting bribes and money laundering. The court issued detention orders for Cevdet Çalı, Bülent Karakaş, and İlker Uluer.
