Police teams conducted house raids in the city center of Şırnak on the morning of December 24. During the raids, carried out on the grounds of “making organization propaganda,” İ.K., A.T., and S.T. were beaten and taken into custody. During a search of İ.K.’s home, police confiscated a shawl and a flag of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government. The three individuals taken into custody were taken to the Şırnak Provincial Police Headquarters, and a 24-hour restriction order was issued regarding the case.
