The term of the trustee administration at the Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK), which has been in office since 2019, has been extended for another two years. The trustee board requested a postponement on the grounds that the institution would experience “administrative and economic weakness” if the general assembly were to be held in November 2025. The Ankara 9th Civil Court of Peace postponed the general assembly to November 2027 with its decision dated October 17, 2025.
The court’s decision stated that the trustee administration sold some assets to settle debts and that the process protected the institution’s financial structure. Kemal Yurtnaç chairs the THK Trustee Board, which includes Ali Akyıldız, Fahrettin Kaya, Kaan Şahinalp, and Mustafa Cihan Feslihan.
