In the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) General Assembly, group motions submitted by the CHP, DEM Party, İYİ Party, and Yeni Yol Party regarding internet infrastructure, child policies, press freedom, and inflation were rejected by votes from the AKP and MHP. Opposition lawmakers criticized the government on issues of child poverty, freedom of expression, and the economic crisis. The General Assembly also moved on to discussions regarding a bill containing regulations on exorbitant site fees.
