Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek, his son Mustafa Gökhan Böcek, and former Provincial Police Chief İlker Arslan were among 41 suspects named in a 702-page indictment accepted by the 6th High Criminal Court. Muhittin Böcek, who was arrested on July 5, 2025, faces charges of “extortion,” “unlawful acquisition of property,” and “laundering of assets derived from crime.” Mustafa Gökhan Böcek is alleged to have aided in the crimes of “extortion,” “influence peddling,” and “unlawful acquisition of property.” The indictment states that a legal assessment was made regarding 26 acts. The first hearing of the case is scheduled for March 16.
