In an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, the court seized the bank accounts and rental safes of 18 individuals, including Ekrem İmamoğlu’s son Mehmet Selim İmamoğlu, on May 11. The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Investigation into the Prevention of Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering. Under the decision, proceedings were initiated against 18 individuals, including Fatih Keleş, President of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club.
