In the case of Boğaziçi University faculty member Prof. Dr. Tuna Tuğcu, it was revealed that audio and video recordings were made during the hearing, despite such recordings being prohibited. During the hearing at the Istanbul 19th Administrative Court, the court recessed after it was determined that the lawyer for the former Head of the Information Processing Department—against whom a complaint had been filed—had made the recording. Tuğcu’s lawyer, Hüseyin Ersöz, described the incident as “a reflection of the animosity.”
