Journalist İbrahim Tığ, who was fired by the Devrek Municipality in Zonguldak, was not reinstated to his position on April 21, despite winning his lawsuit. Both the district court and the appellate court ruled in favor of Tığ’s reinstatement, but Mayor Özcan Ulupınar failed to implement the decision. Tığ filed a criminal complaint against the mayor for failing to comply with the ruling.
