The second hearing in the trial of journalist Tuğçe Yılmaz in Istanbul took place on April 21. The prosecutor sought a sentence for Yılmaz on charges of “insulting the state” due to an interview she conducted with Armenian youths. The court adjourned the hearing until October 20, granting the defense time to prepare.
