Seven of the 14 people detained in Batman during protests against attacks on northern and eastern Syria were arrested, while seven were released. In Dersim, 3 people detained for social media posts were arrested on charges of “membership in an organization.” In Diyarbakır, 21 people were detained in home raids for similar reasons. Detentions are reportedly ongoing.
