Journalist Pınar Doğu alleged censorship, saying that her article in response to Mine Söğüt’s article on the revelations was not published by T24. Doğu reminded on her social media account that she has been a T24 writer for 14 years and argued that the article was blocked because she objected to Mine Söğüt’s “perpetrator-exonerating” article. T24, on the other hand, stated that the text was not published because Doğu had not submitted an article to the website for 15 months and that the allegations were slanderous. Doğu also stated that an interview he had previously conducted with Kurdish queer journalist Bawer had not been published and challenged T24’s statement.
