M.Y.K., who was accused of damaging an Atatürk bust with a sledgehammer in the garden of Namık Kemal Secondary School in Kırıkkale, was detained. Police identified and apprehended the suspect after receiving a report. Following police procedures, M.Y.K. was referred to a courthouse, arrested by a court and sent to prison. Kırıkkale Mayor Ahmet Önal condemned the attack.
