The second hearing of the lawsuit filed against 16 rights advocates on the Gezi Park protests due to “attempting to overthrow the government of the Republic of Turkey” was held at Silivri Prison. Istanbul 30th Assize Court unanimously decided for businessman Osman Kavala, who is arrested for more than 20 months within the file, to remain arrested. The next hearing of the case will be held on October 8-9, 2019 in Silivri.
