RTÜK Member İlhan Taşcı filed a request for review with RTÜK regarding the February 9 and 16, 2026 episodes of the series “Aynı Yağmur Altında” (Under the Same Rain), which aired on ATV on February 18, 2026. Taşcı stated that the series used polarizing expressions based on religious identities and lifestyles and that this violated Article 8 of Law No. 6112. The application reminded that broadcasts cannot incite hatred and hostility in society and cannot be contrary to national and spiritual values, and requested that the matter be placed on the agenda of the Supreme Council.
