RTÜK imposed 3 percent administrative fines and removal from the catalog on Netflix, Prime Video, MUBİ, Disney XD and HBO-MAX platforms. The decision stated that the productions in question violated the provisions of Law No. 6112, which states that the productions “cannot be contrary to the national and spiritual values of society, general morality and the principle of protecting the family” and “cannot be obscene”. CHP RTÜK Member Tuncay Keser described the decision as a “double standard”.
