Retired Colonel Orkun Özeller was arrested by Istanbul 1st Criminal Judicature of Peace after being detained on charges of “inciting the public to hatred and hostility” and “insult” due to his posts against MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. Özeller denied the charges in his statement to the prosecutor’s office, while his lawyer Doğukan Kozan announced the arrest decision on social media.
