An administrative investigation into allegations of torture at a high-security closed prison has been completed. Prison management stated that staff and inmate statements and camera recordings had been examined, no evidence of physical intervention had been found, and therefore no disciplinary action had been taken. The statement noted that no findings had been made to confirm ill-treatment or torture. It was reported that the judicial investigation into the allegations is being conducted by the Elazığ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
