The trial of lawyer Yıldız İmrek, journalist-writer Ender İmrek and 4 other people who are on trial through the HDK investigation was held at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. The lawyers of the defendants demanded the recusal of the judge, arguing that the presiding judge had lost his impartiality due to his previous rulings in the same case. The defendants demanded the lifting of the ban on leaving the country and judicial control measures, stating that they seriously hindered their professional and personal lives. The court stated that it would evaluate the recusal request later and rejected the lifting of the measures. Trial adjourned until December 10, 2025
