On March 26, 2026, the Ministry of the Interior conducted a nationwide operation targeting individuals who posted content praising criminal organizations on social media, in coordination with the General Directorate of Security and public prosecutors’ offices. A total of 358 people were detained in the simultaneous raids. It was reported that the suspects made posts containing content that glorified crime and criminals, as well as threats, insults, and organization propaganda, and that they aimed to publicize the organization’s activities and recruit new members.
