At least 10 people were detained in Adana and Mersin for protesting the attacks on Aleppo. In the Seyhan district of Adana, DEM Party Youth Assembly members Devran Şimşek, Serhat Tatlı, Delal Bulut, and three others were detained on charges of “organization propaganda” and taken to the police station. Early that same morning, raids were conducted on numerous homes in the city. In the Akdeniz district of Mersin, children named U.S. and S.A., along with Sedat Baydar and Kemal Delen, were detained late at night. The proceedings against those detained are ongoing.
