Hakkari Governorate issued another 15-day protest ban in the province. The protest and demonstration ban, that is ongoing across the province for months, was extended for another 15 days, starting on March 17. The Governorate statement based the ban on the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the protection of “national security” and “public order.”
