A lawsuit has been filed against comedian Tuba Ulu, seeking up to three years in prison on charges of “inciting the public to hatred and hostility” due to her remarks about Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Ulu, who had previously been taken into custody, was released on probation. The case will be heard in the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance.
