Press Council has supported Hüsamettin Cindoruk, who was targeted by President Erdoğan with a written declaration that stated, “He will pay the price of these words.” In the TV Show “The Soul of Time,” broadcasted on Halk TV, well-renowned politician and Press Council High Council member Cindoruk had evaluated the March 31 local elections. The council stated that the targeting of Cindoruk by the President as if by ordering the judiciary to take action is an unacceptable situation in terms of democratic traditions and the principles of the state of law.
