Two clips shared on X from comedian Deniz Göktaş’s stand-up show “Ölü Deniz” were made invisible in Turkey. The EngelliWeb platform of the Freedom of Expression Association announced that the posts were blocked under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651 on national security and public order grounds. IT lawyer Yaman Akdeniz noted that the block was, for now, limited to the two clips.
