Police intervened in marches organized in response to a call from the Adana Democratic Institutions Platform to protest the attacks on Rojava. The crowd gathered in the Seyhan district of Adana was unable to march due to barricades set up with armored vehicles. During the police intervention, many people were beaten, and several individuals, including Ali Bozan, a member of parliament from the DEM Party in Mersin, were injured. In the Akdeniz district of Mersin, citizens who wanted to march were surrounded by police. The crowd continued their march despite the obstruction. During the interventions, many people, including women and children, were detained.
