The police barricaded the CHP Youth Branch marching to Tandoğan before the CHP’s rally in Ankara. The youth broke through the barricade and entered the area; there was a brief brawl.
TAYAD members who wanted to attend the rally organized by the CHP in Ankara Tandoğan Square were not allowed into the area because of the banner they were carrying. “Accept the demands of Serkan Onur Yılmaz who is on death fast. Close the well-type prisons”, the group chanted slogans for a while after they were prevented from entering the area. Then police teams encircled the group. The police raised their shields to prevent the press from taking pictures. The police intervened and detained 6 people. Citizens attending the rally reacted to the detention.
