An indictment was prepared against journalists Mehmet Tezkan, İbrahim Kahveci and Halk TV Editor-in-Chief Suat Toktaş due to “publicly insulting the President”. A prison sentence of 1 year and 2 months to 4 years and 8 months was requested. The indictment was accepted by Bakırköy 18th Criminal Court of First Instance.
