Pir News Agency (PİRHA) Dersim correspondent Cihan Berk was arrested by the court on December 20. Police raided Berk’s home in Alibaba Neighborhood in the morning and confiscated his computer and some books during the search. Berk was taken to the police station and then transferred to the courthouse without giving a statement. Berk, who was brought before the court at the prosecutor’s request for detention, was arrested on charges of “membership in an organization” and sent to prison.
