The Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into allegations of spreading misleading information and insulting public officials through fake social media accounts. As part of the investigation, six people were detained in operations carried out in Bodrum, Marmaris, and Seydikemer. The suspects were reportedly charged with insulting the President, unlawfully sharing personal data, and publicly spreading misleading information. Digital materials belonging to those detained were seized.
