The Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) member Ömer Temel was detained at the entrance of the Newroz celebration area in Adana due to carrying Atılım Daily on him. After his house was searched, some books were added to the file against him as well and Temel was arrested by the Criminal Judicature of Peace he was brought to, due to “aiding an illegal organisation.”
