Nine of the twelve United June Movement members, who distributed a leaflet on the off-shore accounts of the Erdoğan Family as well as on the Isle of Man documents, were sentenced to 11 months and 20 days of imprisonment at Karşıyaka 9th Criminal Court of First Instance within the lawsuit filed against them due to “publicly insulting the President.” The court considered the expression, “those rooted in the Isle of Man” as a crime and deferred the announcement of the verdict.
