In a lawsuit filed by four young people who claimed they were tortured while in custody in Bursa, the court rejected requests to refer the case to a high criminal court and to arrest the accused police officers. The lawyers argued that the police officers should be tried for torture and that it is unacceptable for them to remain on duty.
