An indictment was prepared against 14 defendants in the investigation into alleged irregularities in Ankara Metropolitan Municipality’s (ABB) concert expenditures between 2021 and 2024. Five of the defendants, five of whom are arrested, were asked for up to 31 years and 6 months in prison for ‘qualified embezzlement in a chain’ and up to 18 years in prison for the other defendants. Ankara 34th High Criminal Court accepted the indictment. The investigation file alleged that ABB incurred 154 million TL in public losses.
