The “Raki Festival,” organised in Adana since 2010, was later renamed to be “Kebab and Turnip Festival.” The festival was banned by the Governorate again this year due to public order and safety. Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu defended the ban as well, saying, “It doesn’t fit our traditions.”
