A lawsuit was filed against 12 women, who protested the murder of Pınar Gültekin in Izmir, due to “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911” and “resisting to prevent duty.” The indictment claimed that the women, who were detained through police violence, have beaten and “scratched” the police officers. The first hearing of the case will be held on January 20.
