A lawsuit was filed against Sol News Portal’s Managing Editor Uğur Güç due to the article published with the title, “Court agrees with swearing lawyer: Penalty against Işıl Özgentürk“. The journalist is charged with “insulting“ President Erdoğan’s lawyer at Istanbul Anatolian 29th Criminal Court of First Instance. The second hearing was scheduled for May 4, 2020.
