The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against Yeni Yaşam Daily’s Managing Editor Osman Akın due to two news articles published in the newspaper was held at Istanbul 24th Assize Court. The prosecution of the journalist, who is charged with “successively making illegal organisation propaganda,” will continue on January 24.
