17 women stood trial on charges of “insulting the President” and “participating in illegal meetings and demonstrations” due to the slogans they chanted during the Feminist Night Walk held in Taksim district of Istanbul on March 8, 2021. The case at the Istanbul 10th Criminal Court of First Instance was adjourned to September 23.
