Koray Kesik, the cinematographer of the documentary “Bakur,” was sentenced to two years and one month in prison on charges of “spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization.” The Batman 2nd High Criminal Court considered the documentary footage, social media posts, and the book “Bakur Notes” as evidence. Kesik’s lawyer stated that the documentary was filmed during the peace process and that his client was part of the technical crew.
