Kaos GL’s Instagram account was blocked from Turkey.
This blocking of the LGBTI+ organization is a continuation of previous decisions. On June 24, access to Kaos GL’s X account was blocked by the Istanbul 9th Criminal Judgeship of Peace, and on June 27, KaosGL.org was blocked for the same reason. The decisions were based on “protection of national security and public order”.
In a statement, Kaos GL said, “Following our website and X account, our @kaosgl Instagram account was also blocked from Turkey. Our legal struggle against the access ban decision continues.”
The organization stated that it will continue its publications through its newly opened @kaosglhaber account and called on followers to follow this account.
