The gendarmerie interrogations of journalists who were detained in Istanbul and transferred to Artvin as part of an Artvin-based investigation have been completed. Seven journalists, including Sendika.Org employee Ozan Cırık, were accused of receiving payments for technical support to news websites, news royalties and phone calls. The journalists stated that the payments they received were in return for their professional activities and did not constitute a criminal offense. Journalists are expected to appear before the prosecutor’s office tomorrow or Monday.
