Journalist and presenter Oya Lale Arslan was detained in Ankara over social media broadcasts and posts. The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into Arslan on charges of “publicly disseminating misleading information” and “making propaganda for a terrorist organization.” Her home was searched and digital materials were seized as part of the investigation.
