Journalist Metin Yoksu, who was arrested on charges of “membership in an illegal organization” on June 25, was released from Batman Beşiri Prison on judicial control conditions. In his statement in front of the prison, Yoksu stated that his journalistic activities were never brought up during the interrogation. He thanked his colleagues for their solidarity, saying, “There is a lot of news to cover.”
