Human Rights Association (IHd) Central Executive Board member and Contemporary Journalists Association (ÇGD) Rize Chairman Gençağa Karafazlı was attacked with arms. Karafazlı was taken to Rize Public Hospital and is now doing well, healthwise. In the statement made by the IHD, the journalist was indicated to have been performing journalism for 33 years and is also a human rights advocate, known with his oppositional news reporting. The association stated that Karafazlı is frequently becoming a target and is exposed to hate attacks. IHD demanded the incident to be illuminated within all aspects.
