Journalist Barış Barıştıran, a previously shut-down Özgür Gün TV employee who was tried and acquitted on the charge of “making propaganda for a terrorist organization” for broadcasting live from the 2016 general assembly of the Democratic Society Congress, has started his trial again at the Diyarbakır 8th Assize Court after the reversal decree of the appeal court. The next hearing was scheduled for February 17.
