The gendarmerie detained 104 people in operations against ISIS in 30 provinces. The Interior Ministry alleged that the suspects had provided financing through people linked to the organization and so-called aid organizations, had spread ISIS propaganda on social media and were members of ISIS. Investigations were launched against the suspects following the operations, which were carried out under the coordination of the Gendarmerie General Command’s Counterterrorism Department and public prosecutors’ offices.
